Lady Vipers pick up first win

ALICE - Krysta Martinez scored 28 points to lead the Memorial Lady Vipers to their first win of the season, downing Alice 64-48 on Tuesday. The Lady Vipers (1-2) led 32-29 at halftime before going on a 32-17 run in the second half to pick up the win.
Memorial starts play in the Fort Bend tournament on Thursday before returning home on Monday to play Beeville at 6:30 p.m. at the Memorial senior campus gym.
Breanna Jones joined Martinez in double figures with 11, while Kaelynn Reyes contributed eight.
