Veterans Day for some is every day

Editor, the Advocate:Veterans Day. Ah, yes such a touching meaningful day, but for me it's as such every day of the year; tear I do shed, and it touches me deeply to know that each was willing to lay down their life for their country and "us," so freedom continues. What a sacrifice.
So true: Many return home, some as maybe a cripple or mentally disturbed. With all honesty said, I witnessed that, for in three different veterans' hospitals I was during a stay my husband had in each. Memories are there to relive, more often then just on Nov. 11.
Yes, veterans are to be highly honored, our heroes.
