Interval between trash pickup too long

Editor, the Advocate:Ten days between refuse pickups?
This time the city of Victoria has made a bad decision - we just received the new trash can and find we get a pickup on the Monday before Thanksgiving and then the next pickup on the Thursday after Thanksgiving. This will be 10 days of accumulated trash. So we go from three to four days to 10 days - the new can will not be big enough. But it will stink to high heaven!
