GREETINGS FROM THE LAND OF FUMES AND TOMBS!!
That is what all of us call our properties that are located near Formosa. My home is 20 miles away (as the crow flies), but when their FLARE is burning, which is more often than not, I can sit on my front porch at midnight and see clearly enough to read your newspaper.
To fine Formosa $121,443 is a nothing to their budget. They will pay this fine and continue to pollute our environment as well as damage our health and the health of the next generation. We were pleased to see a quote by Luke Metzger saying, "Hopefully they won't just pay the fine and go back to their polluting ways." He is right on the money! Until Formosa is fined in the millions of dollars and made to bleed, they will do nothing. NOTHING!
The FLARE will continue to burn and Formosa will continue to pollute.
Bravo to you for making this a front page issue. Our lives are at stake.
