Road closure on John Stockbauer Drive

Beginning Wednesday at 6 p.m., the City of Victoria will close John Stockbauer Drive to all traffic between Lone Tree Road and US Highway 59 for street reconstruction and paving, and for the installation of water, sanitary and storm water sewer lines. Construction is expected to take about 4 months.

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will permanently close the crossover at the northbound and southbound lanes of US Highway 59 at John Stockbauer Drive, due to safety concerns.
