If a subject is properly taught and learned. test scores should be no problems. The Supt of Goliiad school opines " You do have to look at how the students are going to be asked something and what they are going to be asked so that you can make sure you are using strategies in your classroom for them to be successful. ... Kids will get better at it, and teachers will get better at it," Paulsgrove said. "Years ago many years ago some students for spelling test would memorize the spelling of the words is strict order of of the words in the list. Given the words in mixed up order they would fail spelling. As the Supt says "Kids will get better at it" Better at passing the tests perhaps but no guarantee that they LEARN more about the subject.
